I'm just curious how the color scheme looks to everyone.
I can change them and do all sorts of 'theme' stuff but wanted your feedback before I do anything.
Is it too hard on the eyes or is it OK?
Is the text easy to see? I made the font size a bit bigger for easier viewing. Too Big?

like pink/blue, the girl/boy thing and bigger type always welcomed by this 86 year old.

IMHO, green and blue very readable and attractive, but ditch the pink.

can not leave out welcome to ladies, and unusual too; keep pink.

For now I will leave the pink.

I made several changes to the forum today.
Notice the new main page picture. A nice local shot.
Now, the last topic posted on the main page has more characters.
Now you can read them better.
There are a few other small tweaks as well.
Thanks for your input.

Thank you for your openness to people's feedback ~

I like the larger font and the local photo....in my opinion, the simpler the lay-out is, the easier it is to read and navigate ~ seems like a creative endeaver that will continue to unfold ~

I don't care for the brown at all, especially in combo with the blue and green.

I'm not sure I like it either.
This thing will change and evolve as time goes by.
The more I fiddle with things the better I hope to make it.
Thank you.

From an information design POV, the site is accessible and easy to read. From my personal POV, the text is over-large; but I may not feel that way in a few years and I know it's easier for others, so I wouldn't want it changed. Wink

The colors in the header, and to some extent the background for the other pages, are complementary, providing a setting for local pics full of similar colors. And they're attractive.

I'm not much on the brown text, but then I have a thing about brown. Having grown up in the sere West Texas desert, where the only green things were generally planted and protected by humans and the only blue things, other than the sky, were the mirages (even the water, when it existed, was brown or reddish-brown). I much prefer greens and blues in any color scheme. But hey! That's just me.

The brown stands out as a topic heading if that's what you intended. If I had been designing the page, I'd've probably chosen (0, 0, 51)/000033, which approximates Reflex Blue.

Great work, anyhow. Thanks again for setting up the site.
