I hate changing the clocks twice a year.
It just messes up everyone's body clock. Sleep 
Especially in the spring.

My solution?
I propose that we do away with the practice entirely.
Let's move the clock one 1/2 hour, splitting the difference, and that's it.
We leave it alone from there.

I think 30 minutes on one side or the other is enough to gain benefit at both ends and is less of a hassle overall for folks.
Done.

You mean they tried changing the clocks four times over the year instead of the current two?

NO. They changed the clocks for two hours instead of one.
The excuse was to save electricity.
I have no idea if it saved electricity,
But I sure liked the extra daylight.
