Daylight Savings Time

Post by Tom on Sat Nov 02, 2013 9:45 am

I hate changing the clocks twice a year.
It just messes up everyone's body clock. Sleep
Especially in the spring.

My solution?
I propose that we do away with the practice entirely.
Let's move the clock one 1/2 hour, splitting the difference, and that's it.
We leave it alone from there.

I think 30 minutes on one side or the other is enough to gain benefit at both ends and is less of a hassle overall for folks.
Done.

That's a good point.  Embarassed

In that case, we should spring forward next time and call it a day.  Very Happy

Double Daylight?
You mean they tried changing the clocks four times over the year instead of the current two?
Oh my.

NO. They changed the clocks for two hours instead of one.
The excuse was to save electricity.
I have no idea if it saved electricity,
But I sure liked the extra daylight.

Ah.  Silly me.
Two hours must have really jumbled things up!
One is one too many for me now.   Laughing
