Hi, everyone. I'm married to my best friend. He & I have been together 17 years. We don't have any kids of our own. I am a step mom to two adults--32 & 39. We currently have one kitty. I'm self employed, working help/advice lines from home. We live in Ukiah. We'll have been here three years in Oct. I'm a Sonoma Co native.

I enjoy reading, watching sports, taking long drives (along the back roads), thrift shops, dining out, baking, dancing, technology, music, history, movies, politics, TV, theater, etc I look forward to making new friends here.

I guess this forum isn't very active. The only other one, I've found for this county, is the community one. I've used it, many times, but it's just for posting offers, wants & other notices, not, interacting. I was hoping to develop some friendships here. The people my husband & I have met around town are mainly acquaintances.

Yeah, the place currently doesn't get too much action. I try to promote it where I can without being obnoxious. Feel free to spread the word.
I too am hoping the place picks up steam. These type of boards when populated are a lot of fun.
I sometimes feel like I am talking to myself around here though.
Seems like the only regular visitor besides me is the Google bot. Rolling Eyes

I am on the coast staying cool. I don't know how ya'll stand that crazy heat over there ALL the time.
Last time I was in Ukiah a few weeks back it was BLAZING.

Anyway, thanks again for joining and I hope we see more interaction around here.

Hi, Tom. Thanks for your response. This is the first time I've been on since I last posted. It's a wonderful community here. Beautiful area. The heat can be a bit much at times. It was the same in Cloverdale. We were there for seven years. I hope we're allowed to discuss all manner of things here. As long as it's done civilly & with respect, of course. Mainly I'd post games, about TV, movies, music, books, etc. I'll try to be more active. I hope others will want to join in.
